Go check it out, GCCwired.com, their new site is up and running and it is very nice. It’s clean, uncluttered and very nice!
Granger Community Church is a great church and they are a church that raises the bar for the rest of us in probably every area of doing church. This church is reaching people for Christ in a big way. Kem Meyer is on staff at Granger and she has been leading the way on their new site. On an earlier post, before the new site’s unveiling, she said:
We’ve designed this site [simply] to answer only two important questions. Only two. That’s all.
1. Is this for a fit me?
2. If so, what is my next step? [And if you’re new to GCC, you can relax – your next step may be as simple as signing up for our enewsletter.]
It is clear that they have accomplished their goal of answering those 2 questions in this site.
Is it really that simple? Man, many of us make website design so much more complicated than that.
Check out their ‘Year in Review‘ too, a very nice video that gives a flavor of what this church is like. (I have been there in the past year, but I didn’t make the cut to be included in their review. Oh well, maybe next year.)
If you are anywhere near GCC, you would be crazy to not attend one of their many services. Granger, Indiana is probably a 2 hour drive from O’Hare airport (I know this due to missing a flight from O’Hare to South Bend a few months ago and opting for the drive. That put us in South Bend long before the next flight.) They are also within a few minutes from South Bend.
