I normally skim through Scobleizer and one or two may catch my eye enough to cause me to pursue it. Most techies read Robert Scoble’s blog but if you don’t, here is a post worth reading, not only for the entertainment value, but for the lesson in common sense, as well. Joel Spolsky jabs at Microsoft, stating:
Summer interns at Fog Creek have better chairs, monitors, and computers than the most senior Microsoft programmers.
Of course, Scoble responds, fully loaded and piles on unmercifully. Whether you are a Microsoft fan or not, Scoble is a straight shooter and calls it like it is, whether it’s in Microsoft’s favor or not.
It is not advisable to bash anyone without having the actual facts. That’s common courtesy as well as common sense and I myself would tend to not bad mouth any person or site or company in this type of venue. But I guess everyone has to learn this in their own way.
Go get ‘em, Robert!
