Recently, Rick@ Caffeinated Adventures proclaimed that it was time for his readers to come out of the closet….well, the blog closet. He asked for us lurkers to ID ourselves and many of us did. I’ve thought of doing the same thing here, but just have not yet. There are a handful of you that I "know" through your comments and blogs, but there are many more of you out there. Rick’s a good guy and he has a classy blog, so if the question is good enough for him, it’s a good thing for me to ask. If you are reading this ( you are ) then just leave a quick comment and tell me whatever you want, no pressure, just a shout out. Name is good, how you found this blog, how long you have been visiting, maybe where you live, how much gas is in your neighborhood ($2.45 here @ 8:00pm) or whatever. Scott did this a couple months ago also, it seems, and if this is good enough for these 2 guys, then I’m all over it. So, please, take a few seconds and let me hear from you!
UPDATE–> Just paid $2.42 for gas tonight (Saturday)
Chiming in! Whoo-hoo I’m the first comment!! Congrats on hitting 70 feedburner subs.
Gas is killing us here in Dallas 2.79 and rising. Hurricane Rita is all over the TV, Houstonians are headed our way here in Dallas. Found your blog because your I sold your church Fellowship One.
I’m here
I can’t remember how I found your blog. I am sure it was after I started checking other blogs from Kevin Young’s blog. I don’t think he has yours listed, but just found yours after jumping from one to another
Gas around here in Cent. Ky runs from $2.40 to $2.60.
dj
Don’t really remember how I found your blog. I’m in MN and gas isn’t too bad – like $2.50 or something.
$2.79 as of yesterday… could be more right now.
I read via bloglines, so I have to say that the design looks very sharp! It’s been a while since I’ve visited to comment. I got to this blog via another blog of yours on another blog host.
1)Jimmy Hoffa
2)Guy at the office kept pestering me to read it
3)Seems like years, but probably a year
4)The high school football capital of the world…Go Cardinals!
5)$0 for gas…I siphon it out of another guy’s tank at the office (yes, the pestering one)!
Stu – Thanks for chiming in, I can always count on you.
Bill – It’s great to hear from you again, we are ramping up for F1, these are exciting times!
Darrell and Brenton – Thanks for reading, I appreciate it!
Clint – You have seriously been a part of this since the beginning, even before I started this blog. Your blog is one of the first that I read and inspired me to begin. Thanks, man! I wish I was able to keep both blogs going, obviously, lately, I barely maintain this one. You also know I had nothing to do with the design, it’s still all Mary’s handiwork.
Mr. Hoffa – What can I say to top that. I thought I knew my audience, but I had no idea you lurked in the shadows. I’ll be watching my back from now on and locking my gas tank………I’m feeling depressed about now, to think I’m contributing to keeping a Ford on the road. Now I have you and NBB(the infamous Non-Blog Brad) to fear!!!!! (punctuation added for effect!!)
Anyone else? any other gangstas?
Reached your blog thru Jason Powell’s bloglines – created my own blogline feeds but don’t have time to blog (yet). A volunteer jack of all tech trades at our church and just learning from all the great bloggers…Thanks for the time an effort you put in.

1. Clif Guy
2. Must have been linked by another blogger, but I don’t remember which one
3. Probably since May of 2005, or so
4. Overland Park, Kansas (Kansas City area)
5. Was $2.68 at 6:00 pm yesterday, down to $2.59 at midnight (yes, it’s THAT volatile)
Nick- Thanks for chiming in and reading. Thanks for the top 10 list also, that definitely is something random!
Rick- You guys are paying more than us, but actually I haven’t seen prices today, since the hurricane hit land!
Clif Guy- Thanks for reading! I remember, you have commented at least once, on something. Nice blog, by the way!
1. Charlie Pharis
2. I really can’t remember how I found it, or how long it’s been, but it’s been worth it ever since!
3. Cherokee County, Georgia…NW of Atlanta…pastor a church in Woodstock, home is in Canton…also the home of the one and only Gary Lamb!
4. Paid $2.79 for regular this afternoon, but only because I was on empty and in a tight place. I saw it for $2.56 at my “normal” gas station…
Charlie- very cool to know that you are out there reading my blog. I read your feed daily, or at least as often as you post. I enjoy your blog, as well. It was just recently that I put 2 and 2 together and figured out that you and Gary were both in Canton. It’s fascinating to get a glimpse of the work that each of you is doing in each of your churches.
You both seem like classy guys, although you might be a little classier, simply because you admitted to reading my blog! If I were aware that he read my blog as well, it could very well bump him up to your level of classiness, in my opinion! haha Perhaps you can give him a little nudge.
Jim – Shawn Wood here – I’m reading as long as your posting!
I can’t remember how long I’ve been reading your blog, or how I originally found it.
I’m from Sydney, Australia.
Price of gas (we know it as petrol
)… we’re currently paying around AU$1.30/litre. So, if my conversions are correct, that’s about US$3.73/gallon (you measure in gallon right?).
I don’t know how long I’ve been reading your blog. Probably about 6 months. I found it through Jason Powell’s blog.
