The great not so great thing about blogging is the things you post, tend to become public knowledge. I figured the reason I couldn’t get in to my first WEC/Typo3 install had to be something obvious and it was. When you finish, on the screen where you click to go log into the backend, it says your login may be admin and your password may be password. Surprisingly, it was right!
Lesson learned, pay attention, even when you think you’re done. I blew away my first attempt, even the subdomain, and started from scratch and the second install took about 15 minutes. There are several tedious steps where you have to set permissions, name your user and database and associate them to each other, among other things, but I just used the db I created earlier.
So, now, I’m gonna keep playing, and I’ll post more later.
