I like Rat. In my opinion, he is the alter ego of many of us you. (not me, of course!)

Pearls is a comic strip that tends to enjoy mocking/poking fun at other comic strips and the more I ponder this, I’m guessing that this is refering to Scott Adams, of Dilbert fame. Scott writes an interesting blog and has some interesting views, plus he is not afraid to stir up some controversy.
