Churchonomics

Earlier today, I announced ChurchTechBlogs, now this! This is what I get for being sick the past couple of days.

Those of you that have been around here for awhile have heard me talk, probably too much, of Non-Blog Brad. Non-Blog Brad is an actual person and he is a friend of mine. Brad, being one to not be persuaded by peer pressure, has held back until he was able to define the point of what he wants to do with a website. The end result is a new site called Churchonomics. Here’s Brad, asking and answering his own question:

What’s this Churchonomics thing all about? Well, I love innovative ministry ideas and my goal is to share what I come across on a daily basis. It’s my hope that you will discover and use some of these ideas so that more people find a relationship with Jesus.

He’s got a pretty neat site started and it should continue to get better from here. Some of you may have already stumbled across his site.

Please go check his site out. He is already obssessing about his numbers, hopefully he will mature past that stage, that’s so immature! (He’ll never catch me, I am so far ahead of him!)

Subscribe to his Feedburner feed here, so he can watch his subscriber base grow. (Just don’t unsubscribe from me, he cannot win, I must have more)

I showed him my numbers earlier, from my humble beginnings and it took me over 6 months to get 10 subscribers and he got that many in a couple of weeks, so I’m really not sure why I agreed to do this post! (I’ll stand by my claim that he will never surpass my lofty numbers!)

Seriously though, if your church is doing something new and innovative, let Brad know and he’ll do his part to help spread the word.  This is a unique site and one that is interesting to watch and informative.

Disclaimer: Although the heavy duty antibiotics I’m on only warned against operating heavy equipment, it appears there may be some unexpected side effects!

  1. Brad says:

Time to kick back and watch my subscriber number climb. Oh wait…does an endorsement by Church Tech Matters matter? We’re about to see Jim’s influence in action.

If you want to mess with Jim, do like I do. Unsubscribe on odd days of the month and resubscribe on even ones.

Thanks for the props Jim! I’ll try not to forget my roots after I surpass you. Just kidding…I’ll be happy to keep my existing subscribers.

Now back to clicking the update button every 5 seconds. Really, I’m not obsessed. Really, I’m not obsessed. Really, I’m not obsessed.
