WEC Starter Package

I am very slow in following up on this, but Mark Stephenson posted a comment on a previous post and I thought I would highlight what he said.
The WEC Starter Package is ready to download and it includes TYPO3 3.8.1, the WEC Templates, the WEC extensions, and several installed and configured extensions.
In case you are not familiar with WEC, here’s a definition from their site:
The Web-Empowered Church (WEC) is developing powerful web-based ministry-enhancing tools that you can freely use on your church website.
In his comment, Mark goes on to point out the initial page tree that includes examples of the following:
- a pastor’s blog
- forums
- a prayer request board
- a daily devotional
- a class with MP3 audio and charts
- a calendar
- news
- user login
- website search

It’s a pretty impressive list of features and something that your church can use to add alot of value to your site.
