Ok, I’ve talked about Skype and shared the news of SkypeOut being free. I have also had some fun playing around with it. There’s an open source sound editor called Audacity and if you have that and Skype, then you can record your phone calls. I’ve never had a reason to record any calls but some people do, so it’s super easy.
I know, I know, I watch TV, you can’t record calls unless you tell the other person, so do it appropriately. Of course, being the nerd I am, I called myself and was able to record it and play it back.
But, practically speaking, if you want to do a phone interview, here you go, it’s recorded, or you want evidence that your husband promised to take the trash out or if you want evidence that your wife promised she was only going to window shop and not buy. Be creative, have fun!
So, have fun and enjoy your Skype!
Actually from what I remember is that it is depended on the state you live in. Unless they have changed the law. Some states have a one party consent law where only one party has to know the conversation is being recorded.
