My Need For Socks

I listen to a variety of podcasts, but there is one that I tend to listen to more regularly than others and that is Bob Franquiz, pastor of Calvary Fellowship in Miami.

Well, late one night, last week, I was doing some work and listening to Bob’s sermon, then went to bed. That night I had a dream and strangely enough, it involved Bob and I needed some socks. I went to his office and everyone was asleep, Bob was behind his desk, asleep. My friend that was with me in my dream rummaged through his office, found a package of brand new socks. So, we kind of helped ourselves.

I e-mailed Bob and let him know of my dream and so Bob, being the great guy that he is, shared my dream, in his sermon last week, titled Crash and Burn. That is really cool, since I have never been used as a sermon illustration, although, in the end, he states ‘the more bizarre the individual, the more bizarre the dream.’ and I’m sure he’s not talking about me.
