Church Video Ideas – New Blog

Posted on August 17, 2006 by Jim Walton

If you read this blog regularly, then you have heard of my recent frustrations learning experiences with video editing.  I know now it is not something to just jump into and assume it will be smooth sailing, it takes some time and some talent to produce quality videos.

Churches are wanting to do more and more with video and multi-media all the time and it can be difficult to find quality resources.  So, today, I want to point you to my friend, Greg Atkinson, and his new blog Church Video Ideas.  From his first post:

And so it begins…Welcome to Church Video Ideas. Here, I (Greg Atkinson) will share various media ministry tools, companies, links and resources, including various ways to integrate them into your corporate worship gathering. My hope is that WE will explore and discuss “church video ideas” together. I’m counting on your feedback and comments.

Feel free to suggest what you’d like for me to address. Also, please let me know of creative and innovative ways your church is using media in your worship experience.

He regularly shares new resources and information to help your church do more with video.  Interact with him and draw on his expertise and knowledge, this is a new blog but he is not new to the internet.  Read more about him at his About page, plus check out his links page, a bunch of resources.  He’s a great guy and will love helping you out to take video to the next level in your church.
There is more in the works, things that are not ready to share yet but I will as soon as they are ready.  So start here, then stay tuned for more news from Greg in the near future.
