I am traveling for business in Lexington, KY this week and while here, I was able to connect with Darrell Jordan. He is a great guy, who is a blogger and has a heart for ministry. We went out for pizza and it was spicy, just as he promised it would be. After the first couple of bites, I picked off the jalepenos, my mouth was burning.
Darrell and I have chatted quite a bit online and it was really cool to be able to sit and hang out for awhile. It was neat to share similar stories of ministry challenges, as well as the importance of our families.
This is a the benefit of blogging, connecting with likeminded people that more than likely, would never have happened outside of blogging.
Fun stuff! Thanks Darrell, I appreciate the hospitality. I am flying home tomorrow and at this point, there is no place like home.
