Leadership Institute – Website Strategies
Posted on October 8, 2006
This is a continuation of my notes for the COR Leadership Institute. These are somewhat random but give some of the content of what was discussed. This session was given by Carol Johnson, Communications Director @ Lee’s Summit UMC, Lee’s Summit, MO and Brian Slezak, software developer for Web Empowered Church.
1000-1200 in attendance each weekend and Carol has a marketing and printing background. She attended the Leadership Institute last year, with others from her church, which gave them a place to start on re-designing their website using WEC.

I’d love to see some more details on this post. I’ve been investigating using a CMS system for the church website redesign as it will give the capability to ministry owners to post their own news, events, and other items without needing someone to make the changes. Sounds like there’s some interesting discussion behind this post.
