WWTD

Posted on October 8, 2006

My main thought all week at the Leadership Institute has been WWTD. Oh, you don’t know what that means? Well, here’s some background and this will explain what I’m talking about.

I mentioned last week I was going to be at the Leadership Institute and several of you requested notes etc. That’s cool, I can do that, however Jason threw a kink into it. He requested notes, as well, but then he said “…like the Perimeter team” did at the Church IT Roundtable. Well, his request translates to “take notes at the same level that Tony did”, at least that’s the way I took it. The amount of notes that Tony brought back and the detail was incredible to me and I was worried that I couldn’t live up to his high standard.

But, the way I survived the conference, as I attempted to meet the expectations of my readers was to constantly think, ‘what would Tony do, what would Tony do, what would Tony do, WWTD, WWTD, WWTD….’

So there you go, however, in my obssession, I think I didn’t get the level of detail that Tony brought to us, but I did get some. I do have a lot more notes than what I have already shared, but I think I’ve posted all of the technical notes that I have. My other notes are from Adam Hamilton and Brian McLaren, so if you want to see those, let me know. One thing, though, I don’t want to start any kind of theological, denominational debate on here, you can find that kind of discussion many other places.

I’ll be sharing my actual thoughts, looking back on the entire conference, next, plus I have quite a few more pics.
