Logos Bible Software 3 Demo

Last Tuesday, I had the privilege of getting a demo of Logos Bible Software 3. Daniel Foster gave me a web demo, showing a lot of the functionality of Logos and let me just say, I am very impressed. Daniel knows the software inside and out and gave me good tour.

I won’t deny there are many free resources available out there, but Logos adds real value and gives you the tools to go deeper in your Bible study. This software definitely enables anyone, from the new Christian to the pastor, to study the Bible in a much deeper way.

I will follow up with a more detailed review of the software to give it a fair representation, but for now, I want to say thank you to Daniel for his time and his detailed approach to demo-ing the software for me.

Just to give you an idea, Logos Bible Software 3 gives you access to hundreds of reference books, commentaries, concordances, dictionaries and more. If you want to dig deeper into a verse or a passage, the software will return results from all of the books in your library, including multiple versions of the Bible. Plus, there are several visual tools, timelines and more.

Check out the Logos blog, several Logos employees, including Daniel, contribute to it and it is very informational. That looks to be a great way to see into the company and keep tabs on new features and the latest things happening with the software.

Thank you, Daniel! I’m glad we made the connection.
