Music Machine Pics From Fathers Day

These are some pics from the Music Machine musical that our kids did on Father’s Day. The kids did a great job, it was fun to be a part of this.

This last pic is me messing with something and Allen thinking ‘oh no, what’s he doing now?’ and the very last one is my new dog Zoe helping me mow my lawn.

Notice the beach balls bouncing around the congregation in some of the pics. I wasn’t sure how well this would go over because we are “in church”, but everyone responded well. I am part of a great church! They even took the kids spraying water on them with squirt guns in stride. (I’m just glad I was in the back!)

I noticed that your church did “Music Machine”. I did that musical as a kid and I am now the children’s choir leader and would love to do it again but we do not have the music anymore. Music, meaning listening/accompaniment…do you have any suggestions how I could find a copy or copies of this musical??

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated…

It’s tough, we had a hard time getting our hands on it. We actually got in touch with the guy that wrote the musical and he doesn’t even have a copy of the accompaniment track. You can still buy the music on CD, with words. We ended up taking a cassette that was made from an 8 track and I burned it to CD then cleaned it up. it had that old time feel because it was far from perfect, but it was good. Our children’s minister started preparing to do this musical before actually having the music, we scrambled to get it done, to say the least. It was actually supposed to be a mother’s day musical!

I could send you a copy of what we ended up using if that would help, just let me know.
