Fall Church IT Roundtable

Posted on August 9, 2007 by Jim Walton

The Fall Church IT Roundtable is  Oct. 2-4, 2007 at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS, a suburb of Kansas City, and this looks to be an awesome event.  From Clif’s blog:

I’m excited to announce that registration is now open for the Fall 2007 Church IT RoundTable at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas October 2-4. The society of church IT is small. Many of us are lonely techies in our congregations where we feel that no one around us really understands what we do or why we do it. We need to hear stories of the awesome work God is doing in all kinds of highly effective churches all over the country. We need a forum for peer learning, mutual support, and inspiration. The Church IT RoundTable (CITRT) is that forum.

Read his post here.   The schedule:

Tuesday, Oct. 2: Tour of Resurrection IT – Registration opens at 3:30, tour begins at 4:30 pm, followed by dinner out at a local restaurant

Wednesday, Oct. 3: RoundTable Day 1 – Registration opens at 8:30, event from 9:00rom 9:00

If you are responsible for technology in your church, then this is an event you do not want to miss.  You will develop relationships with people who have experience in the church IT world and are eager and willing to share their knowledge and experiences.

This event leads right into COR’s Leadership Institute.  I attended last year’s Leadership Institute and it was a great experience, so plan to stay, if you can.
