A Poll and a Survey

There are two things for you to participate in that I want to point out.

What Presentation Software Do You Use? This is a post that Greg Atkinson wrote:

In meeting with the folks at MediaShout the other week, they mentioned that out of the list of the Top 25 Most Innovative Churches in the US, 19 of them used MediaShout. I found that interesting.

He created a Squidoo poll for us to indicate what presentation software we use. EasyWorship is all I have used and I’m contemplating upgrading to EW 2007, but I need to review the benefits again to make sure there is really added value.

Once you take Greg’s poll, swing over to Jason’s Church IT survey.

Purpose: Ever wonder what churches similar to you are doing IT wise? How many computers do they support? What’s their IT staff size? Do they support multi-site, etc? Or what about those churches several steps ahead of you – what’s their IT makeup look like? How should you plan now to be at that size in the future?
What about trying to find churches around you with experience in VoIP, Virtualization, etc? Wouldn’t it be sweet to have a resource that helped shed some light on these questions? Hopefully this survey can at least get you started in the right direction.

I took the survey and at the moment, my church is the smallest one represented. Any other non-megachurch IT folks?

While your checking things out, go to my Squidoo lens I created a while back,

that I forgot about too.

  1. Jason Powell says:

Thanks for helping to spread the word Jim.

  2. I am the Technology & Media minister at a church with attendance between 700-800.

I have been using EW since 2000 and it is the best. Mediashout has a bigger advertising budget!

I have loaded up 2007 and it is working great. The biggest change I have used is the profiles. It is cool if you have more than one database.
