I mentioned on here recently, Mary and I will be attending Catalyst next month, October 4-5. In my previous post, I mention that we have to leave the Church IT Roundtable prematurely and the reason is so we can catch our flight out to Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon. We will be meeting up with Wayne and his wife Elaine that evening. They generously offered to pay for our Catalyst tickets and are putting up with us in their home for 4 nights. We are very appreciative and are so looking forward to being able to be at Catalyst this year.
Are you coming to Catalyst?
At least some of us in our group will be blogging the event and also at least some of us will be Twittering as well. (3 out of 4, so far, one hold out!)
I think there will be more people at Catalyst than the number of people that live in our town! If you are reading this and are going to be there, how can we connect? I’m not sure, honestly. My cell phone number is here, take it and call me. Maybe we can blog and/or Twitter our location in the arena. GPS? No clue.
One way or another, let’s come up with a way to meet up. There are people that I never run into in my town, let alone at a conference this large, so we must be intentional.
Leave a comment either here on this post or here on Wayne’s to let us know you will be there too.
Hey Jim, noting that it was one year ago TODAY that we met in Atlanta. I will see you at the Roundtable, but even though I live only a few miles from the Gwinett Arena, afraid I’m choosing not to be at Catalyst this year. Besides being at the roundtable, my wife and I have several other conflicts during that time. But…at least I’ll be able to see you in K.C. – Tony
